The house owner gets the full credit of this low budget home design. After thirteen years of living in a rental house, him and family journey ended on 4th September, and from 5th September onwards they move into their own home. It took 19 months to complete the construction of this 2Bhk house, which began in February 2023. Though have some debts, the family is extremely happy and satisfied now.
From the start of construction, Mr Rajeev didn’t ask for any opinions from other. The reason being that he work in aluminum fabrication and since 85% work involves new houses. Even though he gained knowledge about both necessary and unnecessary aspects from those houses. Additionally, they wants home to reflect not only the dreams but also preferences of their family.
The 2bhk house is a total of 721 sq. ft. Consisting of two bedrooms, one common bathroom, a hall, a small kitchen and a stair room, with plans to expand upwards in the future. Only the front door, the upper floor door and the kitchen door are made of wood. The windows, doors inside, cupboard works, wardrobes and all internal fixtures are made of aluminum.
Firstly the dream home was through the government’s LIFE housing scheme. Initially, the project was the 450 sq. ft. under the LIFE scheme, and later, changes to a new plan and submitted it for approval at the Panchayat to complete the rest of the 721 sq. ft.
